From the second Heather was our midwife we felt relaxed and in safe hands. Heather's knowledge and experience shines through and i always felt she had mine and baby's best interest at heart. I feel lucky that I had such a wonderful homebirth experience and Heather was integral to this. The support Heather gave us extended to the postnatal period where feeding was so much easier due to me being relaxed and us feeling supported. Having a private midwife was so worth it for us, it gave us support, our options and choices were honoured and we built a relationship with someone who delivered our baby. We are so pleased we did it.
